Welcome back to school!!

 

1st September, 2025

There is no class today. We distributed books, which include READING STREET 5.2, SKILL SHARPENERS SCIENCE GRADE 5, READER'S &WRITER'S NOTEBOOK GRADE 5, AND COMMUNICATION BOOK.
We also discussed about the classroom rules and got to know each other a bit.

We will have  summer homework presentation on Wednesday. Please send me the PPT via e-mail or Line. 
We will have a Quiz on Weslandia this Friday.

We had levelled class today. We went through half of the vocabulary of Westlandia, and read the story once.

We did a quick revision of the vocabulary that we learnt yesterday and then we went through the other half of the vocabulary of Westlandia. We also read the story, 'Westlandia' and asked and answered some of the comprehension questions. We will continue tomorrow.

Reminder:
We will have a Quiz on Weslandia this Friday, remember to spell the vocabulary. I found that some students already spelt some of the vocabulary. They did a good job!!!!! I hope all of the students can get good grades on the quiz.

We did a quick revision of all the vocabulary of Weslandia. We finished reading the story, 'Weslandia' and asked and answered some of the basic comprehension questions. Since we will have a Quiz tomorrow, we walked through some of the question types today.

Reminder:
We will have a Quiz on Weslandia tomorrow, remember to spell the vocabulary. The worksheet we did yesterday was released today. We talked about the correct answers and how we could tackle some of the question types. Please check whether they have finished the correction and asked them to submit tomorrow. 

Please sign in the communication book every day. Some students started to follow the lesson and I have written some encouragement for them in the communication book. Let's encourage our lovely kids together and build their confidence.

We had the vocabulary quiz today. I have marked them all and will deliver the quiz on Monday. Some students studied for the quiz and did a nice job but some of them need to work harder next time. But don't worry, it is just the start of the school, things will be on the right track later on.

Reminder:
Please sign in the communication book every day. Some students forgot to do the homework. Homework is a useful way for the students to check whether they understand the lesson content. Please encourage your children to finish the homework at home.
